The Melon Colony of Japanese Horror is a fan-made youtube series in which we review Japanese horror movies. Topics range from slasher movies, to horror movies, and even to sleazy "pink" movies.
Bellow is a list of common questions:
Q: Can you review/Have you seen/what did you think of (movie name)?
A: I usually have in mind what I'm going to review next, but requests are very welcome. Even if you just saw an asian horror movie you liked and wanted to tell me about it, that's fine too.
Q: Will you ever review Thai\Filipino\Chinese\Indonesian\Malaysian\Vietnamese\etc. horror?
A: I'm trying to keep the show focused on Japanese horror, but I'm open to other asian movies.
Q: How can I contact you?
A: You can email TheMelonColony@yahoo.com, but I prefer to be messaged on youtube because it alerts me whenever I get a message. My username on youtube is TheMelonColony
Q: How do you prefer me to watch your videos?
A: I prefer my videos to be watched on youtube, because it gives me some interesting statistics about views and deomographics, and because I can see all the comments and ratings. But if you watch it on blip, or download the mp4s, that's fine too.
Q: Can I embedd your videos onto my blog\website? Can I link to your videos on my site\blog?
A: You're welcome to "spread" my videos wherever you want. You can embed my videos onto your blog, myspace, facebook or whatever and I'll still get views from the people who watch it on your blog.
Q: How can I help The Melon Colony?
A: I'm currently looking for webhosts\webmasters who may be interested in helping the Melon Colony of Japanese Horror get a "real" website. Beyond that, the best ways to help are to subscribe, rate, and comment on my videos. If you like my videos, do comment and rate. It doesn't need much effort and time and shows me that you liked my videos.
Q: Where can I buy the movies you've reviewed?
A: Most of the movies I've reviewed are out on DVD In the United States of America, with English subtitles. You can find them on Amazon or other retailler websites.

First Post
Merry Christmas. This is Henry, the curator of the Melon Colony of Japanese Horror. A review series in which I tackle various horror movies from the land of the rising sun.
I created this blogspot so that I can have a convenient place to post all news and videos. I haven't really put much advertising behind my series, I've posted threads on That Guy With The Glasses and The Spoony Experiment, but this is the first time I've ever had a "real" website. I've tried to use Twitter before, but it sure didn't stick.
I'll be posting all the previous videos tonight.
